Some Arizona golfers may well have saved the life of a man who drove into a golf-course hazard on Monday.

A still-unidentified man drove into a lake at Glen Lakes Golf Course in Glendale, Ariz., managing to avoid two trees that may have seriously injured him. Golfers on the course sprung into action, jumping into the water to save the man and extricate him from the pond. Officials said the man, who was rushed to the hospital, is expected to recover.

It's unclear why the man drove into the lake, but fire officials believe he may have suffered a seizure that caused him to lose control of the vehicle.
