See the beautiful colors at Puakea Golf Course

GGP Lydia Ko cover

Usually when a course makes you keep the golf cart on the path, you slump down a little bit. It might be for your good or the betterment of the course, but it's still a bummer. However, on Saturday at Puakea Golf Course, the cart path was the place to be. The Hawaii golf course hosted a variation on the Color Run over the weekend, inviting runners out to the course to enjoy the views typically reserved for golfers, all to raise money for a good cause. Read all about the run in this week's Global Golf Post!

The GGP gang also has the low-down on two big, season-ending tournaments. First, Henrik Stenson successfully defended his DP World Tour Championship as Rory McIlroy claimed the European Tour's season-long Race to Dubai for the second time in three years. Later, in Florida, 17-year-old Lydia Ko earned the biggest single payday in women's golf history, first winning the inaugural, season-long Race to the CME Globe and its $1 million prize, followed by a playoff win in the CME Group Tour Championship, worth another $500,000.
