Repeat champion crowned at Doug Oswald Senior at Ocala Golf Club

For the first time in 23 years, one of Florida's oldest senior golf tournaments crowned a repeat winner.

Doug Snoap shot a final-round 70 on Sunday at the BCG-managed Ocala Golf Club to win the Doug Oswald Senior golf tournament for the second consecutive year. Snoap became only the second player in tournament history to repeat, 23 years after Bo Williams won the tournament from 1987-91.

Snoap opened with 5-under 67 in the two-day tournament, carrying a two-shot lead into the final round.

“I put together two pretty good rounds of golf,” said Snoap, according to the Ocala Star-Banner. “My putting was excellent over the weekend and that was the difference. It feels great to win.”
