Global Golf Post: Golf is just the start at Connecticut's Lyman Orchards

Now is the perfect time of year to enjoy Lyman Orchards in Connecticut. The 45-hole facility offers a challenge for every player, as well opportunities to enjoy the many crops growing on property. The two 18-hole courses, designed by Robert Trent Jones and Gary Player, are affordable courses built by top-notch architects. 

Someone needs to architect a way forward for the American Ryder Cup team. That's what is expected to happen as the PGA of America announces a task force on Tuesday with the aim of solving the problems that have caused the U.S. to lose eight of the last 10 Ryder Cup matches. Global Golf Post's Steve Eubanks believes the approach is just another PGA bungle.
